Book Character Pumpkin Contest starts NEXT WEEK! Entries may be dropped off at the library from Mon., Oct. 28 or Tuesday, 10/29. Big Kahuna Party Bus Day is ALWAYS a great day!!! Fun was had by all and we cannot thank families enough for helping us raise money towards a new playground!!!

Patrol Stories visited Reno Elementary yesterday! It was a blast and students learned about safe and healthy living in both the classroom and their community!!!! We would like to give a HUGE thank you to First Baptist Church Springtown for donating shoes to our school for students who may need them! We were blessed with over 50 pairs of shoes! Thank you to Mr. Cates for delivering them as well! We have the best community supporting our students and campus!

Reno Elementary's Ms. Torres was chosen as a guest of honor at her volleyball game by a former Reno Porcupine! "A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops." -Henry Adams We are blessed to have the best teachers at RES!

Our Reno Pines were thrilled to they got a special performance from SMS/SHS Theater group today!!! Thank you, SMS/SHS for allowing our students to get to see some of the extra curricular activities they will get the opportunity to be apart of when they get to secondary! It was also great to see some of our older Reno Porcupines! Great things are happening at Reno Elementary!

POJO Pride Fridays are our favorite! It is black and orange for days!!!! Our little pines come all decked out to wrap up the week!

Congratulations to the September Students of the Month! The Student of the Month award recognizes students at Reno Elementary who exhibit exceptional academic, character, and behavior traits at school. Each student who received this award gets a certificate, recognized on announcements all month and “Pizza with the Principal" at the end of the month! Awesome job Alonzo, Issac, Pablo, Dylan, Olivia and Kevin (not pictured)! Great things are happening at Reno Elementary!
