Originally Big Kahuna Envelopes/Fundraising Packets were due to be turned in on Friday, 9/20. However, we do not have school that day.
If you sold items using the catalog and accepted check or cash, please make sure to have the envelope turned in by Monday, 9/23. When turning in the envelope, make sure that you put the order form and any money or checks are inside, and that the envelope is sealed. Do not send your child to school with an unsealed envelope. Also make sure that the order form is COMPLETELY filled out. You only need one order form for all of your students (EX. You have 3 students; all 3 student names will go on 1 form). *Since envelopes are due on Monday, you can keep selling through the weekend!
If you sold all of the items online, you will have nothing to turn in. The school will get a report and know that your student sold items online.

This week we had our first positive office referrals! Positive office referrals are when students are recognized for doing positive things, being kind to others, and/or being great citizens! Great things are happening at Reno Elementary!

Students are receiving tickets for every 2 items sold for a PIGtastic collectables! When they reach 15 items, they earn a ride on the Big Kahuna Party Bus! Families with more than one student earn a ride for all the students in their family when they sale 20 items!
Envelopes are due 9/20. Online sales end on 9/27!
All money raised is going towards a new playground!

Dear Porcupine Familly,
We are seeking community members to join the SISD Citizens' Facilities Advisory Committee to help our district plan for the future. This committee is charged with:
🟠Representing the entire community in the facility planning process.
⚫Honoring the district’s history, traditions, and values.
🟠Assisting the district in assessing and prioritizing current and long-term facility needs, including:
-District enrollment, capacity, and campus utilization
-Building age, safety, and condition
-Student and program equity
-Evolving educational delivery and programs
⚫Considering the educational needs of all students and aligning recommendations with the district’s mission, vision, and goals.
🟠Considering the district’s current financial position and funding methods to develop a fiscally sound recommendation.
The committee will report its findings to the Springtown ISD Board of Trustees, including recommendations on how to meet the district's needs through future bond programs.

Reno Elementary would like to give a HUGE thank you to the Springtown Lions Club Volleyball for their generous donation towards new playground equipment!
This donation is going to really help us in purchasing pieces of new equipment that our students can enjoy!

We are just some parent pickup staff celebrating a day 3 of school, end of the parent pickup line COMPLETE in 20 minutes!!! 20 minutes!!! On day 3!!! Can you imagine how fast we will be in a couple of weeks??!! Thank you to all the parents who help keep the line moving by: -Having car tags visible with students' first and last names. -Staying in line and not switching lanes. -Staying in your vehicle and if your children need assistance, pulling into the parking lot to assist rather than slowing down the lines. We will get faster and faster! We appreciate your patience and your support! Great things are happening at Reno Elementary!!!
The first week at Reno Elementary was filled with lots of learning the Porcupine Way and lots of love! It was truly one of the best first weeks!

-The first day is hard, but please get your student to class & settled, then exit the building or stop by our boo hoo/wahoo breakfast.
-Tardy Bell rings @ 7:35.
-Bring school supplies if you haven't already.
Parents may walk students to class on the first day only!
