๐๐ NEW RENO ELEMENTARY FITNESS RECORD! ๐๐
We are thrilled to announce a new school record for the PACER Test, part of the FitnessGram assessment, here at Reno Elementary! ๐๐
What is the FitnessGram & PACER Test? ๐ค
The FitnessGram is a comprehensive fitness assessment used in schools across Texas to measure students' overall health and fitness levels. One key component is the PACER Test (Progressive Aerobic Cardiovascular Endurance Run), which measures cardiovascular endurance. ๐๐จ
Students run back and forth across a 20-meter distance in time with audio cues. As the test progresses, the pace gets faster, challenging students to push their stamina, speed, and determination! ๐ช๐ฅ
๐ Big congratulations to Carter for setting a NEW Reno Elementary record in the PACER Test! ๐
Keep up the amazing effort! ๐๐

Great things are happening at Reno Elementary!! ๐งก๐ค

Good morning Reno Families, we will begin opening our doors for drop off at 9:45 this morning. This will allow our staff time to travel and for us to be ready to start school at 10:00. Be safe and stay warm!

โผ๏ธ DELAYED START - 10:00AM โผ๏ธ
Springtown ISD will operate on a delayed start schedule today, with classes beginning at 10:00 AM.
Our team has been out assessing road conditions since 3:45 AM. While roads in town are generally in good shape, there are a few rural areas that require extra caution. We want to allow our bus drivers to navigate those routes in daylight for added safety.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority.
Please stay safe, and we look forward to seeing everyone later this morning.
