We are pleased to introduce Officer Clint Kern, who will be joining us as the new full time School Resource Officer at Reno Elementary.
Officer Kern brings a wealth of experience to this role, with a total of 14 years in police work. He began his career at the Waco Police Department, where he gained valuable insights and skills. Following his time at Waco, Officer Kern served as a State Ranger for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, showcasing his commitment to diverse law enforcement responsibilities.
His dedication continued as he worked at the Springtown Police Department in a patrol capacity, further honing his expertise in community policing. Beyond his professional background, Officer Kern is also a father, and he views the School Resource Officer position as a meaningful endeavor.
Officer Kern is eager to serve our students and staff and looks forward to bringing a unique and positive influence to our school community. We believe that his extensive experience and genuine enthusiasm for the well-being of our students make him an excellent addition to our team.
Please join us in welcoming Officer Kern to Reno Elementary. We look forward to the positive impact he will undoubtedly have on our school community.

School Resumes tomorrow, Tuesday, 1/16. Temperatures will be cold, so please have your student dress accordingly. See the graphic for more information!

Today's beautiful sunshine has helped local roads clear for safe travel to school tomorrow in Springtown ISD. We will be having school on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, on regular schedule. It will be cold throughout the day - and especially tomorrow morning at bus stops and during morning arrival - so bundle up and stay safe, Porcupines! We will have our campuses warmed up and ready for you!
Additionally, we kindly request all students and staff wear green tomorrow as a gesture of honor and solidarity with the Paradise ISD community. This is in remembrance of their school board member and two children who tragically lost their lives in a plane accident. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Paradise ISD community during this difficult time.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back to school! Stay safe and warm, Porcupines!

Reminder: No school Monday, 1/15. See everyone on Tuesday, 1/16!

Report cards went home today in orange folders! Please check your students' report card, sign and return! Thank you!

Reminder! See everyone on Tuesday, 1/16!
