🚨 Important Update: HB 114 🚨
Texas enacted HB 114 in 2023. Parents: if your child is caught with a vape on school property or at a school event, they will be placed in a Disciplinary Alternative Education Program (DAEP) as mandated by law.
Let's keep our kids safe and informed. Reach out if you have questions!

📢 Attention, Parents! 🚨
We want to keep our children safe in the digital world, and your vigilance matters more than ever. 🧐📱
Lately, there have been a few concerning apps circulating that ask for personal information such as school details, schedules, and more. These apps claim to connect students within the same school but often lack proper filters to verify age or school enrollment. Your child's safety is our utmost priority, so we urge you to monitor the apps they download and use on their phones.
Here are a few key points to keep in mind:
🔒 Personal Identifiers: If an app is asking for personal identifiers like age, school district, or schedules, be cautious. Legitimate school-related apps usually have official channels for communication.
📚 Verified School Apps: At Springtown ISD, we use trusted apps for various purposes:
Remind: Teacher to student/parent communication
Smore: Newsletters
Skyward: Grades, attendance, and assignment monitoring
Schoology: Online Learning Management System
❓ Have Questions? If your child claims they need to download an app for school purposes, don't hesitate to reach out to their teacher, principal, or our district admin office. We're here to clarify any doubts and ensure your child's safety online.
Let's work together to create a secure digital environment for our students. Thank you for your continued support! 🌟👨👩👦👦🔐
