During a specially-called school board meeting last night, our SISD Board voted unanimously to call a bond election that will be on the November 7, 2023 ballot.
The $120,780,000 proposal includes:
🏫Construction of a new middle school for grades 6-8 to accommodate enrollment growth.
🛠️Renovations to convert Springtown Intermediate into the district’s fourth elementary campus.
🛠️Converting the old middle school building to a 9th grade center.
The district will share more detailed information over the next few weeks through its normal communication channels.

Texas enacted HB 114 in 2023. Parents: if your child is caught with a vape on school property or at a school event, they will be placed in a Disciplinary Alternative Education Program (DAEP) as mandated by law.

🔒 Personal Identifiers: If an app is asking for personal identifiers like age, school district, or schedules, be cautious. Legitimate school-related apps usually have official channels for communication.
📚 Verified School Apps: At Springtown ISD, we use trusted apps for various purposes:
Remind: Teacher to student/parent communication
Smore: Newsletters
Skyward: Grades, attendance, and assignment monitoring
Schoology: Online Learning Management System
