We have been informed by the City of Springtown that FM 51 is currently closed from 199 to Lynch Bend due to a fatal accident. Traffic is being rerouted, and at this time, we do not know if the road will reopen before our buses begin their routes. If your student rides buses 39, 52, 75, 81, or MB11, please be aware that drop-off times may be earlier or later than usual due to the rerouting. If you have specific questions, please contact our transportation department at 817-220-1418. Additionally, if you typically drive this route to pick up your child, we recommend planning an alternate route to avoid FM 51. Staff members who drive this route should also prepare for alternate routes when leaving for the day.

Dear Porcupine Familly, We are seeking community members to join the SISD Citizens' Facilities Advisory Committee to help our district plan for the future. This committee is charged with: 🟠Representing the entire community in the facility planning process. ⚫Honoring the district’s history, traditions, and values. 🟠Assisting the district in assessing and prioritizing current and long-term facility needs, including: -District enrollment, capacity, and campus utilization -Building age, safety, and condition -Student and program equity -Evolving educational delivery and programs ⚫Considering the educational needs of all students and aligning recommendations with the district’s mission, vision, and goals. 🟠Considering the district’s current financial position and funding methods to develop a fiscally sound recommendation.
