Springtown, July 31, 2023 - Springtown Independent School District (ISD) is pleased to announce that it will be receiving an Excess Contribution Refund in the amount of $11,205.00 from the Public Workers' Compensation Program (PWCP). This refund is a testament to the continued efforts of Springtown ISD and its dedicated employees to work safely and protect others and their personal safety.

The collaboration between PWCP and Springtown ISD has resulted in the development and implementation of a comprehensive safety program that prioritizes employee well-being and aims to prevent on-the-job injuries. This program focuses on encouragement, education, and the provision of necessary resources, such as onsite safety training, personal protective equipment, innovative safety resources, and immediate recognition.

Thanks to the proactive approach and commitment of all members, including Springtown ISD, PWCP has achieved remarkable financial results and performance, leading to a substantial return of $12.3 million dollars back to its members. This success underscores the significance of fostering a culture of safety and care for employees.
