Springtown ISD

Mr. Rick Beall was elected to the Board of Trustees in May 2016. A graduate of Tom Bean High School, Mr. Beall attended Texas A&M University-Commerce and is currently a Consultant at Oncor Electric Delivery.

Mr. Beall has two sons, Tyler and Austin, and one daughter, Reagan. Tyler, a graduate of Oklahoma State University, graduated with honors from Springtown High School. Austin is a recent Springtown graduate of the class of 2024. Reagan is a sophomore at Springtown High School.

Mr. Beall is a graduate of the Leadership TASB Class of 2022, a Board Member of the LTASB Alumni Association, and a TASB Legislative Advisory Committee member for the 86th and 87th Texas Legislative Sessions. He has been a TASB voting delegate for the Delegate Assembly for the past six years and is a member of the Springtown Education Foundation.

Mr. Damon Liles was elected to the Board of Trustees in May 2016. He holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of North Texas. Currently, Mr. Liles is the President of Damon Liles Insurance Agency, Inc., and has dedicated over 30 years to the insurance industry.

Mr. Liles is a proud father of three children—two sons and one daughter—all of whom are Porcupine alumni. J.T., Jack, and Jayda Liles are graduates of Springtown High School. In his free time, Mr. Liles enjoys spending time with his family, as well as hunting, fishing, and flying.

Active in his community, Mr. Liles serves on the Board of Directors for The Children’s Advocacy Center of Parker County, Springtown Neighbor to Neighbors, Parker County Agricultural Extension Advisory Board, and the Springtown Chamber of Commerce. His past board memberships include the Springtown Legends Museum, Leadership Northwest Inc., CASA of Parker County, and the Springtown Optimist Club.

Mr. Chris Gilley was elected to the Board of Trustees in November of 2020. He is a 1998 graduate of Springtown High School and attended Tarleton State University where he earned a bachelor’s of business administration. He has worked for Amentum for 15 years and is currently the Vice President of Government Finance and Compliance. Mr. Gilley and his wife Ashley Gilley, Librarian at Springtown High School, have two children Cash and Calan. Cash is an eighth-grader at Springtown Middle School and Calan is a 5th-grader at Springtown Intermediate School.Mr. Gilley likes to stay active in the community and is involved with the Springtown Lions Club and First Baptist Church of Springtown.

Mr. Gary Veazey was elected to the Board of Trustees in November of 2020. Mr. Veazey was a graduate of Planview High School, has a Bachelors of Science from Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU), and has a John Maxwell Leadership Certification. Mr. Veazey is the current Pastor of Legacy Church in Springtown, TX, and has been in that line of work for 25 years. Mr. Veazey has been married to Shannon Veazey for 32 years. He is a father to Cameron, Brooklyn, and Kourtlynn. Mr. Veazey is also a proud grandfather to five grandchildren; Sawyer, Callen, Saylor, Zayden, and Olivia.

Mr. Mark Bryant was elected to the Board of Trustees in May 2021. A 1991 graduate of Springtown High School, Mr. Bryant is currently an estimator at C & F Steel Company Inc.

Mr. Bryant's family includes his wife, Kristin Bryant, his daughter, Landree Bryant, his son, Jett Bryant II, and his stepson, Braeden Summers. Landree graduated from Springtown High School in 2021, and Jett is currently a 9th grader at SHS.
